As the forgotten Royal Teenieping, I got bored of living in your kingdom.

— Egoping explaining herself to Romi in "In The Name Of The Royalpings.

Egoping is the Emotion Teenieping of selfishness, appearing as the final boss of Season 1. As the Forgotten Royal Emotion Teenieping secretly working at Jennie's orders, she is the one who lead Happying to transform into Giggleping and who controlled her evil ego, to ultimately get hold of Romi's Magic Catcher to build her own kingdom where the Teeniepings would be slaves.

Egoping's Appearance

Egoping is an evil and devil-themed Teenieping. She has light skin, red eyes, dark purple heart-shaped eyebrows, a round nose, pink triangles on her face, a dark pigtailed hairstyle with a massive pink fringe, a broken heart ping next to her fringe, and two devil horns behind it.

She has a dark magenta bat collar with a triangle badge on it, as well as a bat tail. Interestingly enough, she doesn't have her Royal Teenieping sign. Her prop is a red trident with a heart at its end.

Personality[]

S1E52 - Egoping not accepting her defeat

Egoping being selfish

Egoping is a total supervillain: rude, very aggressive, and totally selfish. As she says herself, she likes to "mess up with everyone's feelings and stir up fights": supposedly bored of living in the Emotions Kingdom, she now hates the people she used to live with, the Teeniepings, and her goal is to show the world her strength and powers by creating a kingdom where the Teeniepings would work at her service.

S1E51 - Egoping being provocative

Egoping playing with her enemies

She is very arrogant as she always claims to be the most powerful Teenieping, and she always considers herself to have the advantage, even when she gets caught by Romi. She likes to play with people, by notably acting and making them believe they have a chance of winning.

She is ready to give anything she has to not lose the battle and to accomplish what she desires. And even after having left the Kingdom for a long time, she is still quite smart and very competent, as she managed to perfectly execute Jennie's plan, and even successfully managed to steal the Magic Catcher after a clever move.

Magic[]

Egoping is much more powerful than the other Teeniepings. She can resist other Teeniepings' magic, even the full royal power with the help of her plant, and she, with her trident as her prop, has a large number of magical abilities.

Seed and plant[]

S1E45 - Egoping going to the sewers

Egoping in seed form

She can transform into an evil seed of the Yummy Fruit, able to partially control the Teeniepings eating the fruit she is in, by inserting desires and thoughts into their minds. When transformed as such, Egoping can still talk, and move a bit. This process seems to be quite energy-demanding, as she says it.

S1E51 - Princess Heart against Egoping

Egoping's giant plant

She can also create a giant plant with the help of the seed. She can control the different vines of the plant with her trident, to make it invade a large space with all the vines. They all contain dark red pollen, which, when spread by Egoping's order, can make people start meaningless fights, and ultimately make them fall into a deep sleep[1] (however it was never the case). The plant also holds a lot of energy, which can be drunk with Egoping's trident which can transform into a straw, when she is in a difficult position.

Combat skills[]

S1E52 - Egoping creating a red ball

Finally, Egoping can create some red, pink, and purple balls which she can send to people in order to trap them. When the ball has trapped something, it starts to shrink, to the point of presumably completely erasing the people inside. However, the ball can still be destroyed with royal magic.

She can also use her trident to make nearby objects or people levitate. When this magic is used, the targeted element has a pink circle added around them, with no way to escape it. And finally, her prop can release some energy to be used as a counterforce.

History[]

Past[]

At some point in her life, Egoping becomes a Royal Teenieping serving the royal family, before getting bored of her life in the Kingdom and leaving it. As time passes, people start to forget about her, and she starts to hate the Teeniepings that she used to live with.

Creating Giggleping[]

S1E45 - Happying eating the Yummy Fruit

Happying eating the Yummy Fruit

But at some point, she comes in contact with Jennie, who offers her to make an alliance. She accepts and carries out Jennie's plan by transforming herself into a seed and guiding Happying to eat the Yummy Fruit she is in, making her transform into Giggleping, to ultimately take control of her evil ego. She makes Giggleping enter the Cube Chamber, press some buttons to disrupt the Gate Cubes, and make Romi enter the room and press the button releasing all the Teeniepings on Earth.

S1E51 - Giggleping going on Earth

Giggleping going on Earth

At the half of Romi's mission, Egoping follows Giggleping who goes to Earth because of Jennie. She makes her desperately want to steal Romi's Magic Catcher, to supposedly make the greatest prank of all times, but to in reality bring it to Jennie who wants to build her own kingdom. But unfortunately for her, the plan fails, and when Giggleping is freed from the poison, Egoping, still in her seed forms, goes into a nearby sewer to recover some strength and prepare her new attack with her giant plant.

The attack[]

S1E51 - Egoping facing Romi

Egoping facing Romi

And finally, in "In The Name Of The Royalpings", right after the last Teenieping is caught, she releases her giant plant in all of Harmony Town, and faces Romi to who she explains the whole situation: who she is, what she has done, what she wants... However, as part of the plan, she doesn't mention anything about Jennie, pretending Jennie's objective to be her own.

S1E51 - Egoping with the Magic Catcher

Egoping getting hold of the Magic Catcher

She starts to attack Romi, who continuously fails to stop her. After a clever move, she finally gets hold of the Magic Catcher, but, as everything seems lost for Romi and her friends, the one she corrupted, Happying, decides to sacrifice herself to save the ones she loves, by using all the power of her golden chest to try to stop Egoping. However, with the help of her plant's energy, Egoping manages to resist Happying's attack, while Romi tries everything to resuscitate Happying. She manages to trap Romi and the Teeniepings into her ball.

S1E52 - Princess Veronica and Egoping

Egoping about to lose

But as she believes she has won, Heartsping's tear magic activates, transforming Romi into Princess Veronica. The Royal Teeniepings then use all their powers to finally get down Egoping's plant, and make her surrender. But instead, she chooses to give a clue to Romi, by saying that she has "no idea of what happened" and that she "doesn't know anything at all". She tries to escape, but gets caught by one of Happying's bubbles, allowing Princess Veronica to finally catch her. When in the cube, she laughs and says that someone will surely come for her.

Trivia[]

  • Egoping's complex backstory was only briefly mentioned and never deeply explored. When Egoping calls herself the "Forgotten Royal Teenieping", Heartsping recognizes her, but nothing is added.
  • Egoping is the only Teenieping absent from the Teenieping song of Season 1.
  • She is hinted starting from "Princess Sunshine", where her silhouette replaces Giggleping's in the title card's book.
  • Her English name comes from the word "egoism".
  • Egoping is the second Teenieping who is female, but has an oval nose rather than a heart nose, with Sighping being the first.
  • In the season 2 finale, it’s revealed that Jennie was controlling her.
  • The triangles under her eyes are similar to Maskping and Giggleping, who are both antagonists.
  • Egoping is so far the only antagonistic Teenieping who has yet to reform.
