Hopping is the Star Teenieping of mettle who appears in Star Catch! Teenieping. She represents the rabbit constellation, Lepus, and is the pilot of the Space Star Plane. She debuts in "Hop Hop Hopping".
Appearance[]
Hopping's Appearance
Hopping is a rabbit-like Teenieping with a pale pink body, blue eyes, and pink eyeshadow. She has a small, light pink tuft of hair in the shape of a heart.
She wears a white dress with a pink bow, and a light blue star at its center. The bottom part of her dress also has light blue linings. She also wears white tights.
Her prop is a skipping rope made up of two of the levers from her control deck in the Space Star Plane. The rope itself is translucent with a pink glow.
Her constellation is a silhouette of her sleeping on a crescent moon.
Personality[]
Hopping is a very unwavering and determined Teenieping. She consistently gets back up after falling, demonstrating a strong will to overcome obstacles. She is particularly evident when she tries to pilot her spaceship again after crash landing on Earth, showcasing her desire to return to the Space Star Village despite numerous setbacks.
While generally cheerful and optimistic, Hopping can become easily frustrated when things do not go as planned. For instance, during her adventures on Earth, she becomes irritated when she keeps tripping over rocks, which leads to moments of anger where she flails her skipping rope. Her aspect of her personality highlights that even determined characters can experience frustration.
Hopping has a playful side that comes out when she uses her magical abilities. Her playful nature adds a light-hearted element to her character and emphasizes her connection with fun and mischief. Despite moments of irritation, Hopping shows compassion towards others, especially animals like the baby raccoons affected by her magic. Her concern for their well-being reflects a caring side that balances out her more frustrated moments. Hopping's willingness to explore new environments, like Earth, demonstrates an adventurous spirit. She eagerly hops around parks looking for friends, embodying curiosity about the world.

The Girl Who Came Upon a Star[]
Hopping piloting her plane
Hopping makes her first appearance subtly seen piloting the Space Star Plane. She swoops down from above to come pick up Romi and Heartsping to take them to the Space Star Village.

Hopping about to crash
After being sucked into the black hole, Hopping finds herself crash landing on Earth. Confused about the strange place she's wound up on, she tries to pilot the Teenieping spaceship again, determined to go back to the Space Star Village, but, sadly, to no avail.
To keep spirits high, she takes the levers off the spaceship, summons a skipping rope with them and hops off into the park, attempting to look for her friends, unbeknownst to her, Ian has just picked up the spaceship.
Hopping fell down
As she wonders around the park looking for her friends, she trips over a rock, but is quick to get back on her feet and laughs it off. However, this small inconvenience quickly becomes a genuine nuisance as she repeatedly trips over or falls onto multiple different rocks.
The raccoons start jumping around
This infuriates Hopping and she angrily flails her skipping rope about, casting multiple bouts of Tinkle Puff all over the place. However, things take a turn for the worst as some of the Tinkle Puff landed on some baby raccoons sitting nearby, causing them to jump around uncontrollably. The parent raccoon, wondering what on Earth has happened to its children, quickly spots Hopping and begins to chase her down.
Luckily, as they climb up a hill, the raccoon soon becomes tired from all the running and collapses, leaving Hopping to escape and continue looking for her friends. As she does so, she casts another burst of Tinkle Puff, making the birds, flowers and everything nearby jump around.

As she continues to wonder around the place, she is overjoyed to hear the voices of the royal Teeniepings as they, along with Romi, have been looking for her. She excitedly jumps out from the bushes, expecting to run right into their arms but is mortified to see that she has just jumped right off the edge of a steep cliff.
Romi tried to save Hopping
As she plummets down onto the ocean below, she manages to catch herself on one of the rocks protruding from the cliff. After extensive searching, with the help of the Shooting Star Pact, Romi and the Royalpings manage to locate Hopping, flailing from the cliff. They try to reach her, but even with the Royalpings and Romi in a chain, the distance is still far to great to cover. Romi tells Hopping to jump towards them and after a bit of hesitation, Hopping agrees, but before she can do so. The edge she's hanging on collapses.
Twinkleping failed to save Hopping
Hopping falls once again but she activates her skipping rope and, with immense speed, starts hopping up the cliff and towards the Romi and the Royal Star Teeniepings. Twinkleping, being at the end of the chain, tries to catch her, but misses, and Hopping falls back down again. Romi withdraws the Royal Star Teeniepings and jumps into action, falling after Hopping. She pulls out the Shooting Star Pact and successfully catches Hopping, midair.
Hopping is then taken back to Heartrose Bakery, where she is ever so greatful and thanks them for their help. Then, along with the Royal Star Teeniepings, Hopping quickly runs over to the new Teenieping playground made by Dr. Monziu.

Hopping appears as a cameo, having fun withPetitping's paper craft along with Hulaping, Giverping and Dingdongping.
Strong Teenieping, Mightyping[]

Hopping along with some of the Star Teeniepings help Mightyping to learn how to control her own strength. She is jumping on the table with Mightyping, but Mightyping accidentally breaks the table.
Trivia[]
- She shares some traits with Hurryping, with both of them being pilots and having rabbit motifs.
- Additionally, they are both non-Royal Teeniepings who are caught first in their respective seasons in which they appeared.
- She is the first Star Teenieping to not use her invisibility power to hide from Romi, followed by Giverping, and Petitping.
- Hopping's name is an actual word in the English dub.
- She is the second Teenieping to own a vehicle. The first is Cureping and the third is Princeping.
- She is the fourth Teenieping to have two P's in her name. The first was Happying, the second is Cheerupping, and the third is Cupping.
