Lalaping is the Royal Emotion Teenieping of joy who appears in Catch! Teenieping. She is tasked with supporting Romi in her mission to catch the Emotion Teeniepings alongside the other Royal Emotion Teeniepings. She debuts in "Let's Sing with Joy."
Appearance[]
Lalaping's Appearance
Lalaping is a purple music-themed Teenieping. She has a lavender body, a dark purple collar with a golden button attached, and a white underbelly with a golden Royal Symbol. She has long eyelashes with brown irises on her eyes. She has a heart-shaped nose and a curvy mouth resembling a cat's mouth.
She has purple hair tied by a purple ribbon with a yellow musical note-like extrusion. Her tufts resemble dog or bunny ears. She also has a short, light purple tail that resembles a cotton ball.
Monster Form[]
In her monster form, she has the same hairstyle, but in a bigger and rounder fluffy body with her white patch being in a fire shape. She has sharp teeth, purple eyes, a purple heart shaped nose, yellow claws with a white spot on her hands and feet, and a rabbit like tail.
Personality[]
True to her concept, Lalaping has a colorful personality. She is extroverted, energetic, and cheerful with a passion for music, and especially likes to sing and dance. Lalaping can be loud sometimes, especially when singing, which unknowingly causes disturbance or annoyance for others around her.
Lalaping has a helpful and encouraging side. In "Let's Sing with Joy", she helps Dua practice her singing and encourages her when she sings in front of the class.
Etymology[]
- The Korean name 라라핑 (“Lalaping“) comes from Lalala⁓, which is an onomatopoeia used to describe singing.
- The Chinese name 唱唱萌可 (″Chàng chàng méng kě″) comes from 唱 (″Chàng″), which means to sing. It can also be related to the word 唱歌 (“chàng gē“), which can mean to sing a song.

Transformation[]
Like her Royal Teenieping comrades, by kissing Romi, Lalaping can help Romi transform into a magical princess. She can transform with Romi into Princess Melody.
Tinkle Puff[]
With her microphone, she can sprinkle Tinkle Puff to make people start dancing called the Joyful Dance. She can also use it to translate words that others can't understand, like a baby's voice. She can also imitate others' voices.
History[]
Past[]
At some point in her life, Lalaping becomes a Royal Teenieping, alongside her Royal Emotion Teenieping comrades. She then becomes one of the Teeniepings released to Earth from the Cube Chamber.

Lalaping with bandages
Lalaping is first seen walking through the forest in search of Romi. She winds up annoying some animals with her singing, so much so that a raccoon scares her and chases her into Harmony Town.
When she's able to tame it by using her magic to make it dance, she slips and falls into a tin can, getting stuck. Dua discovers her on her way home from school, and Lalaping introduces herself.
Dua takes her home to mend her injuries. In return, Lalaping uses her magic to help Dua overcome her fear of singing in front of her classmates when the latter confesses it to her. However, a transformed Romi & Heartsping capture her, assuming she doesn't want to get caught and considering Dua's problem.
Lalaping encouraging Dua
After hearing Dua practice her singing, Lalaping explains herself, and Romi & Heartsping apologize to her, and let her go so that she can help Dua.
Twinkle Catch! Teenieping[]
After all of the Emotion Teeniepings are caught, Lalaping returns to the Emotions Kingdom along with the other Royal Emotion Teeniepings (except for Heartsping) to resume her role as a teacher at the Royal Teenieping School.
Twinkle Twinkle, Jewel Teeniepings[]
She & Chachaping alert Dr. Monziu — as he’s trying to introduce Romi’s new magical tools after overhearing the Jewel Forest crisis — that the Jewel Heart Wing Phone has gone missing. When they search the Emotions Kingdom for the culprit, they find the Royal Teenieping students have stolen the Phone and are leaving in the Teenieping Bus.
Welcome to Teenieping School![]
When Dr. Monziu calls Romi (as she's transformed into Princess Diaheart), she takes Dr. Monziu's phone to scold the student Teeniepings for stealing the Jewel Heart Wing Phone without warning them. Heartsping tries to step in and calm her down, but she's still angry.
Royal Teenieping Face-Off![]
Lalaping and the other Royal Emotion Teeniepings (except for Happying) arrive at Heartrose Bakery to challenge the student Royal Teeniepings to a duel upon realizing their progress in catching the Jewel Teeniepings has been lackluster.
Teenieping School Graduation[]
She and the other Royal Emotion Teeniepings (except for Happying) arrive at the bakery to watch the graduation of the Jewel Teeniepings.

- Lalaping and Ariaping shares some similarities: they're both Teeniepings that are purple who shares interest in music.
- Lalaping may have been influenced by Kirarisu from Cocotama because they're both purple.
- She might have also been inspired by Melory from Cocotama because both of them like to sing.
