Petitping is the Star Teenieping of ideal who appears in Star Catch! Teenieping. He debuts in "Wandering Petitping." He is Princeping's counterpart, which is revealed in "Memories of the Stars," after he took off his crown and fell into the black hole.

Petitping has a pale yellow body, bright yellow hair, and blue eyes. He wears a mint green torso that extends into pants with a red waistline, and a yellow scarf like tie with a yellow star around his neck.
Personality[]
Petitping is a devil-may-care individual with a relaxed, laid-back demeanor. He tends to wander through life at his own pace, never rushing but always paying attention to the world around him. His natural inclination is to avoid conflict, preferring peaceful solutions to problems. However, when attacked or provoked, his easygoing nature can quickly shift to anger or distress, showing a more fiery side that is seldom seen. Despite this, he remains grounded and does not hold grudges for long.
Deep down, Petitping cares deeply about the emotional well-being of others. He often goes out of his way to help people who are struggling with negative emotions, particularly those who are grieving or upset. His unique ability to erase bad memories with his magic paper boat is a reflection of his desire to bring comfort to others, even if it means taking matters into his own hands. While his methods might not always be fully understood or accepted, Petitping believes that sometimes forgetting painful memories is a necessary step toward healing.
Though he is generally calm and collected, Petitping is not immune to serious situations. When his friends or those around him are in danger, or when the situation demands it, he can switch gears and become resolute and focused. His calm exterior doesn't hide his capacity for courage and determination when faced with adversity.
Petitping values freedom and independence, which is why he enjoys wandering and exploring. He doesn't like to be tied down by rules or expectations and dislikes situations where he feels trapped or entangled. - The Korean name 나그네핑 ("Nageuneping") comes from 나그네 ("nageune"), which means "traveller."
Magic[]
Petitping’s most notable ability revolves around his magic paper boat, which serves as a tool to help others forget their bad memories. This power is tied to his desire to offer comfort, erasing sorrow and grief in the hopes that people can move forward with a lighter heart. The boat works by absorbing the negative emotions attached to a person’s memories, granting them the relief of forgetting their troubles.
In addition to this memory-erasing magic, Petitping has the ability to manipulate origami—using his paper boat to create various paper constructs, which can be used for both offense and defense. He can mold paper into shields for protection, craft a unicorn to escape a tricky situation, or even summon paper stars as a form of attack. His ultimate ability allows him to summon hundreds of paper things to overwhelm opponents or steal magical props.

Wandering Petitping[]

Maya is saddened by the death of her goldfish, Milk, and Jun is upset because he keeps making mistakes while working in the kitchen back in Heartrose, so Petitping gives them a paper boat to erase their bad memories.
Boat’s Tinkle Puff
In the meantime, Romi and the Royal Star Teeniepings hear that Maya and Jun are unexpectedly happy and have easily overcome their bad memories and soon learn of this. Once Twinkleping examines the paper boat, she discovers that Tinkle Puff has gotten on it. However, the Royal Star Teeniepings forget their memories and are puzzled by the fact that there weren't any Star Teeniepings who typically use a paper boat.
Soon enough, when the Shooting Star Pact's alarm goes off, Romi and the Royal Star Teeniepings discover Petitping who's folding paper boats at the Celestial. He mentions that his head hurts when he notices the Royal Star Teeniepings' symbol and the Shooting Star Pact with a somewhat gloomy expression.

But just when Romi identifies him with the Shooting Star Pact, he's surprisingly not recognized. Petitping comes down from the Celestial, introduces himself as a passing traveler, and defends himself against Twinkleping's stuffed doll by folding the paper boat again to make a shield out of it. Petitping thinks that he would feel better if he forgets the sad memories, and when Romi gets angry about touching other people's memories before trying to grab him, he tries to use the paper boat to make Romi forget her memories. Fortunately, Heartsping manages to move Romi's hand away so that Romi is able to recognize the paper boat's weakness in that it's only effective if she touches it.

Subsequently, Petitping quickly finds out that Romi is a princess. He doesn't want to get caught, so he folds a paper boat into a horse and runs away by riding it.
During the chase, Romi transforms with Heartsping into Princess Brightheart before chasing after him. She notices Petitping sprinkling Tinkle Puff on to a crying child who had fallen off her bike, which causes her to instantly smile and feel happy as if nothing's wrong. Following this, Petitping avoids Princess Brightheart's attack and folds a paper boat into a star to attack Romi back, but is stopped by Shimmerping's Melody of Healing attack.

Soon enough, he summons a large number of paper stars and make them steal the Royal Star Teeniepings' magical props, putting the Romi and the Royal Star Teeniepings in a corner. However, Princess Brightheart summons Hulaping, which makes her use her magic to destroy the large number of paper stars.
Catching Of Petitping
Petitping is hit by Hulaping's magic hula hoops and spin him around, which causes him to become dizzy and my eyes to spin. This leaves Petitping to be vulnerable and Princess Brightheart catches him with the Shooting Star Pact.

Afterwards, he makes paper cranes and play with the other Star Teeniepings back in the Celestial. Romi and the Royal Star Teeniepings decide to keep an eye on Petitping from now on. With that, the Royal Star Teeniepings wonder about who Petitping's true identity is.

Petitping sends a note to Romi that he has to go somewhere, which leaves Romi panicking.

Later, he arrives back at Heartrose, and begins smiling upon his return. However, Mightyping turns around and she accidentally knocks the table into Petitping, which sends him flying.

The Royal Star Teeniepings are carrying one of Romi's shirts, which grabs Petitping's attention, but doesn't do anything about it.

After Romi is looking for her shirt, and Petitping says something that grabs Romi's attention. After Petitping tells Romi that the Royal Star Teenieping took her shirt and Romi leaves looking for them.
Noah Comes To Heartrose[]
Unlike the Royal Star Teeniepings who were excited by the news that Noah is coming for a job experience, he goes about his day without much excitement as usual, but when he notices Noah's ring that he's wearing, he's surprised and decides to watch carefully.
Afterwards, Romi feeds a piece of bread to Petitping, but this causes him to lose his thougts and falls into the state of recollection and see Auroraping. Romi, Noah, and Heartsping also see this scene when they come into contact with Petitping. He wakes up and asks Noah what the ring is, but the latter thinks that the former is hiding something.
After finishing the bread-making experience at Heartrose, he vows to watch over Petitping and his own ring.
Let's Do It Together, Togetherping[]
Petitping watches Romi going to school briefly, but after Togetherping is caught, he ends up in Romi's bedroom while crying and asking her questions upon picking up the arrow.
Naughty Allureping[]
Petitping sighs heavily at Romi's question about whether he would eat some cookies.
Singing With Doremiping[]
He appears briefly, but he is separated from other Star Teeniepings who watch the live stage of Romi and Doremiping singing a song, which is broadcast on TV. He is left alone, but is soon surprised to see the aurora in the sky.
Finding Petitping[]
Petitping senses that the aurora in the sky is a distress signal from someone. The next day, he steals the Space Star Plane that Hopping was repairing and flies away. Romi calls him through Shooting Star Pact and finds out that he stole the it. She asks him to come back, but he refuses, saying that she can't about know his feelings yet. Just then, the Space Star Plane that isn't fully repaired explodes, which causes him to crash into Sharan Island. Romi and the Royal Star Teeniepings use the warp elevator of the Space Star Station to go to Sharan Island in order to rescue him.
Afterwards, he's caught in the giant spider's web, but Romi and the others manage to rescue him and returne to Heartrose after the thirty minute timer goes off. However, because he was bitten by the giant spider, he gets treatment from Sarah.
Romi Became a Teenieping[]
He is seen lying in the bed at the end, still affected by the spider's poison, before calling out Auroraping's name.
Follow Kissyping and Go Thirty Thousand Miles[]
Petitping is feeling very sick and Romi (Transformed as Princess Starlight) and shimmerping use magic to try and heal Petitping but it failes. They then go and leave Petitping to catch Kissyping.
Memories of the Stars[]
While Petitping is in serious pain, he starts recalling his memories about his life, including Auroraping. As Kissyping kisses Auroraping's arrow, the Celestial lights upp and he finally gets to see that Auroraping is trapped inside of the black hole. He promises her that he would go to save her, but the contact cuts short. The Star Teeniepings decide to gather the power of the stars to save Auroraping.
