Puffping is the bubblegum-themed Dessert Teenieping of interest. He appears as the main antagonist of Dessert Catch! Teenieping where he steals the Magic Sugar Ball, which ends up releasing the Dessert Teeniepings and himself on Earth, and tries everything to keep the mysterious Magic Sugar Ball with him. He debuts in "Sweet Dessert Teeniepings".

Puffping's Appearance
Puffping is a peach Teenieping with cherry red hair that is styled in a two-bun style, red, pink, yellow, and blue streaks in his bangs, and purple eyes.
He wears a red shirt with a pink, yellow, and blue rainbow, a white collar with a red, yellow, and blue pin, white puffy pants with red, yellow, and blue streaks, and a small, red tail. His prop is a red gumball machine filled with red, yellow, and blue gumballs.

In his corrupted form, Puffping's white pants are now replaced with black, while his buns have morphed into a closer shape.
Triangle tattoos now appear on his cheeks. His eyes also changed from purple to fuchsia.

In his monster form, Puffping becomes huge in size and entire body becomes black while his upper legs has some dark red but his hands/claws are blackish brown. He has thrills around his neck, his eyes have turned a light orange, and his pupils become a dark orange. The marks and eyelashes return from his corrupted form as he has a devil looking tail. He only has two streak of hair color from his corrupted form and his hair has become a dark red; his buns have become bat wing like.
Personality[]
Puffping is a mischievous and playful Teenieping known for his devilish ways. He recently swiped the coveted magic sugar ball. Preferring solitude, he spends his time blowing bubbles with gum instead of making friends. Despite his disdain for the Royal Teeniepings, he still manages to stir up trouble within the Dessert Village.
Etymology[]
- The Korean name "뿌뿌핑" (Ppuppuping) comes from "뿌뿌" (Ppuppu), an onomatopoeia for "blowing bubble gum".
- The English name "Puffping" comes from "puff", which means "swell" or "become swollen".
- The Chinese name "泡泡萌可" (Pào pào méng kě) comes from "泡泡糖" (Pàopàotáng), which means "bubble gum". "泡"(Pào) also means "bubble" or "something soft and puffy".

Sweet Dessert Teeniepings[]
Royal Desert Teeniepings notice Puffping
While all of the other Dessert Teeniepings are working on the factory line to make desserts for the Emotions Kingdom and Mystic Town, Puffping has a plan of stealing the Magic Sugar Ball. When no one is looking, he steals the Magic Sugar Ball from the Cake Palace, which makes the village lose its color and flavor.

By the time the Royal Dessert Teeniepings come back from the chocolate river to get Fluffyping, they're shocked to discover that the Magic Sugar Ball isn't at the Cake Palace. Once they reach the top, they wonder as to what happened to the Magic Sugar Ball. Fluffyping soon notices Puffping hiding and pokes his tail, and after Jellyping's insistence of letting Puffping show what he has, he exposes himself that he was the one who took the Magic Sugar Ball, which shocks the Royal Teeniepings.

However, Puffping chews on his bubble gum, which makes himself inflate, and blows himself away with the Magic Sugar Ball, escaping the Royal Dessert Teeniepings. But just when he thinks that he has gotten away, the Cake Palace's portal soon opens and sucks him through it to transport him to Earth along with the Magic Sugar Ball.

While talking with Candyping who fell to Earth in the same place, then Puffping encounters a raccoon and tries to take the Magic Sugar Ball which the raccoon is holding, but Candyping tried to calm the raccoon's anger by using her magic and whispering something in its ear, which only makes the raccoon more angry and its chasing him and Candyping. And at the end of the episode, he manages to escape the raccoon by climbing up a building and inflating his two buns.

After discovered how wonderful power that Magic Sugar Ball has, Puffping promised that he would never be separated from Magic Sugar Ball. Then, he encountered a cat. He was chased around Maya by the cat, but he got rid of it by blowing bubble gum and startling the cat with the sound of the gum popping. Then, she heard from Maya that she had met her. Romi and the Royalpings came and persuaded her to go back with the magic sugar ball, but he said that he had no intention of returning to the Dessert Village. Dessert Royalpings attacked him, but he dodged their attacks and crashed into Romi's shoes. He saved himself from danger by using bubble gum magic to escape from Romi. After some chasing, the Magic Sugar Ball rolled onto the road, and it was on the verge of being roadkill and breaking. Jellyping, who witnessed this, retrieved the Magic Sugar Ball using the Jelly Ball Magic of Fun, but was eventually beaten by Puffping and the Magic Sugar Ball was taken away again. He received the Magic Sugar Ball again and made a continuous bubble gum attack, but this time he was reflected by Princess Jellystin's Magical Shield and was caught in the bubble gum. Princess Jellystin tried to catch him, but he escaped the crisis by touching the Magic Sugar Ball before the medal arrived, and he ran away somewhere again.
Go Flat, Waffleping![]
Flat Puffping
While trying to eat a sandwich while holding a Magic Sugar Ball, Waffleping used his magic to flatten the sandwich that Puffping was holding. When he encountered Waffleping, he was suspected of having taken the Magic Sugar Ball from Cake Palace. When he was discovered to have stolen the Magic Sugar Ball, he threw gumball into Waffleping's mouth and inflated his body. And then he fell under the spell of Waffleping and turned into a piece of paper and was flattened. Afterwards, he inflated his body and restored it to his original state, and when Waffleping flattened Sugar Berry Compact flew out, he inflated it, and just when he thought he had seen it somewhere, Waffleping reappeared, and he was flattened again. And his appearance of this episode ends when he gets stepped on by Waffleping and Romi during the chase.
Fluffyping and Her Little Friends[]

As Puffping tries to run away faster by deflating his body, there is a billboard for a luxury passenger ship behind him. He didn't see it and hit it and fell to the ground. In the aftermath, the Magic Sugar Ball is lost, and Princess Berryheart succeeded in returning to her original state by contacting the Sugar Berry Compact with the Magic Sugar Ball. And I was on the verge of colliding with the delivery bike that Fluffyping was riding. Princess Berryheart saved his life by striking it away and protecting him. Then, he gets the Magic Sugar Ball back, says thank you to Princess Berryheart, and goes off somewhere.
I'll Make It Colorful, Macaping[]

Puffping steals a chicken from Ellie's Chicken Shop, while trying to eat the chicken, Macaping shows up, and colors the chicken blue and makes Puffping look like a clown. Enraged, he demanded that Macaping restore him to his former self. However, Macaping only managed to return him and half of the chicken to their original states before abruptly leaving. Seeking vengeance, he tracked Macaping down at the gym and forcefully fed him bubble gum, causing Macaping's body to inflate. Despite Macaping returning his color to normal, her body remained bloated. In a final act of retaliation, he coldly walked away, declaring that this was just punishment for her actions.
Jellyping Is a Softie[]

While others were playing, Puffping was sitting alone, feeling lonely. Then, he hears someone's voice from the Cake Palace. After hearing this, he had a nightmare where Magic Sugar Ball and Sugar Berry Compact were combined and Magic Sugar Ball disappeared. Then, when he sees Jellyping running out of school after fighting with Romi at school, he tells her that he will give her the magic sugar ball if she succeeds in the operation to steal the Sugar Berry Compact. He even gave Jellyping a communication device and set up a plan. While Jellyping was chasing Royalpings, he succeeded in blocking Romi's movements with the bubble gum he gave her, and made Romi burst the bubble gum, causing Romi to be startled and drop the Sugar Berry Compact. He ordered Jellyping to bring the Sugar Berry Compact, but she failed as the Dessert Royalpings told Jellyping not to take the Sugar Berry Compact. And when Romi and Jellyping were about to reconcile, he told Jellyping to tell Jellyping that she hated Romi, but Jellyping threw away her communication device, saying that she did not like Romi and that she did not want to say that. Then, he revealed the entire plan and tried to steal at least Sugar Berry Compact with bubble gum. However, Jellyping jumped high and grabbed my foot, so he succeeded in shaking off Jellyping, but Jellyping used that opportunity to pop the bubble gum with a Jelly ball and retrieve the Sugar Berry Compact. Romi and Jellyping tried to transform into Princess Jellystin to catch her, but he blocked their transformation. When he ran towards Romi, his Magic Sugar Ball and Romi's Sugar Berry Compact resonated, and a strange space where sugar magic unfolded appeared before his and Romi's eyes. As a result, the Magic Sugar Ball glowed with the power of darkness, and himself turned black under the power of Sugar Magic. And the episode ends with him declaring that he will take away Romi's Sugar Berry Compact.
Don't Cry, Cupping and Muffping![]
After hearing Shashaping, Puffping wonders what the bad thing is, then makes a plan. While Princess Sweetfloss, the Royalpings, and Cupping & Muffping were taking a walk, a bubble gum was thrown, trapping Princess Sweetfloss and the Royalpings in the bubble gum and dragging Cupping and Muffping's stroller. Princess Sweetfloss immediately disarmed the bubble gum trap, and he yelled at Cupping and Muffping, who had woken up in the meantime, to cry immediately, but Cupping and Muffping only laughed because they found his anger was ridiculous. In the end, he took away the pacifiers and got angry at Cupping and Muffping, telling them to cry again. Eventually, Cupping and Muffping began to cry bitterly and gradually grow bigger. Then, he gets hit by an angry Muffping and gets caught on the clock tower's needle while flying. When Cupping and Muffping climb up the clock tower, he throws their pacifier to the ground, inflates his body with bubble gum, and runs away.
Let's All Get Along With Chocolate Hats[]

Puffping meets Chocoping and tells her his story so she uses her magic on Puffping and Romi giving them hats causing them to become friends. He has ice cream with her and Romi makes him a flower crown and helps catch Chocoping. As the magic fades away Puffping and Romi bring the Magic Sugar Ball and Sugar Berry Compact together and cause Puffping to become corrupted.

Puffping raises his ultimate goal; the mysterious power of the Sugar Magic being combined with the Dessert Village's two powerful devices; the Sugar Berry Compact and the Magic Sugar Ball. Puffping gathers more until he gets stopped by Jellyping, but as a failed attempt, he returns both Magic Sugar Ball and Sugar Berry Compact to himself, and gets beaten once Jennie enters in alongside Romi having the power to transform.

Puffping cunningly snatches the coveted Magic Sugar Ball once more, transforming into a monstrous figure of immense size and power. People seeing the monster dragon and the people were scared because they might think the monster dragon will stampeding all across Harmony Town.

Puffping remains as his monster form and is attempting to destroy the village, until Princess Harmonious manages to get him back to normal. Puffping, who was inside of the body, telling about his selfishness, Romi tells him to stop kindly, but then he starts to deny at it because of his love for the Magic Sugar Ball, until Sweetping and Tangyping's apology has now been accepted, restoring the Dessert Village.

- Puffping's ability to become huge when swallowing bubble gum is nothing new: indeed, this mechanic was first introduced way back in Season 1 episode "The Bubble Gum Disaster", where it is said that any Teenieping who swallows any type of bubble gum will inevitably become huge.
- This also means that Puffping's gumballs are regular and not magical gumballs.
- Puffping is the fourth Teenieping known to have swallowed bubblegum, after the unknown Teenieping, Gogoping, and Moseyping.
- However, he is the first (known) Teenieping to do it willingly.
- Similarly, he is the second Teenieping to have the magic to become huge, as Dreamping also has this ability.
- Puffping is the third male Teenieping to have double hair buns with Noraping being the first and Trustping being the second.
- Puffping is the fourth Teenieping who avoids getting caught the first time around. The first is Roarping, the second is Giggleping, and the third is Balletping.
- Puffping is the fifth Villain Teenieping and sixth antagonist overall.
- He is also the first male Teenieping antagonist in the series (not counting Giggleping being male in the English dub)
- Chronologically he is the second male Teenieping antagonist after Truthping in the prequel movie.
