Spookping is the Emotion Teenieping of fear who appears in Catch! Teenieping. He debuts in "Spooky Picture Time".
Appearance[]
Spookping's Appearance
Spookping is a purple-magenta Teenieping with cyan eyes and a magenta nose. He has a magenta head, small bangs, and light purple ears that move as he gets scared. His ears and neck are covered by a sort of scarf, and he has a small round magenta tail. His prop is an ordinary flashlight.
Personality[]
Mischievous and stubborn, Spookping likes to use his power to scare people, as he likes to see their surprised faces.
He is quite narcissistic as he calls himself "courageous" and says that scared people should learn from him. However, even if he claims otherwise, Spookping himself is also a huge coward.
He is notably very scared of spiders, but he constantly tries to deny and hide this fear.
Etymology[]
- The Korean name, 무셔핑 (“Musyeoping“), comes from 무서워 ("museowo"), meaning "scary," which fits his character of wanting to scare others around him even if he's also a coward.
- The Japanese name ビクピン (“Bikupin“) comes from びくびく (“bikubiku“), a sound effect used when expressing fear or nervousness. It can also mean “trembling“ or “shivering“.
- The Chinese name 怕怕萌可 (“Pà pà méng kě“) comes from 怕 (“pà“), which means “be afraid of“ or “fear.“ It can also be related to the word 害怕 (“hài pà“), which means “fear“ or “be scared of“.
Magic[]
With his magic flashlight, Spookping can sprinkle Tinkle Puff to create an illusion of someone's greatest fear. The illusion isn't fully real as it can be gone through, and it also doesn't last long and quickly disappears in a puff of smoke once the targeted person is scared enough.

Spookping is released along with all the other Emotion Teeniepings from the Cube Chamber on Earth.
"Spooky Picture Time"[]
As Romi and the Royal Teeniepings are having a picnic in the forest, he appears and steals Gogoping's camera while everyone is gone. He laughs after seeing a picture of Heartsping getting scared of a spider. He then wears the camera and looks around with it, but then a spider appears, causing Spookping to run away screaming. After getting away from that spider, he replies that he "didn't run away because he was scared". Just then, he approaches some rabbits. He then flashes his flashlight to emit Tinkle Puff, and creates an illusion that looks like a tiger. The tiger roars at the rabbits, causing them to run away as Spookping took a picture of one. Throughout the evening, he uses the camera along with his magic to scare people and collect pictures of their scared faces.
When he is eventually found by Princess Star, a battle starts between him and Gogoping. Spookping tried to stop Gogoping with a ghost illusion, but Gogoping just went through it. He and Spookping quarrel over the camera, when all of a sudden, the camera slips out of Spookping's head, giving him the opportunity to catch it. Eventually, Gogoping manages to steal Spookping's flashlight and uses its magic on him, revealing his cowardly nature as he gets scared by the spider illusion.
This allows Gogoping to get back his camera, and Princess Star to catch him. Later, he is last seen in the bakery, as he's being teased by Kikiping, saying that he is a coward. Suddenly, Gogoping gives him attention to see him wearing a spider mask. Due to Spookping being arachnophobic, he runs into Romi and started crying in fear.

During one scene, Spookping jumpscares two aliens with a pumpkin illusion.

Spookping with Shyping
After Allmineping steals all the delicious cookies, is seen discussing with Shyping how embarrassing and scary it would be to fight over food. To comfort them, Weeping decides to make them taste one of her tear candies, which they greatly appreciate. Later, he is briefly seen being transformed into a baby by Bebeping, as the latter wanted to have more tear candies.

- In the Korean dub, when Spookping reappears for the Teenieping Carnival, his voice changes and becomes slightly higher.
