Teeniepings are the main mascots of the Catch! Teenieping series. They are magical fairies who reside in different areas of the Emotions Kingdom.

Description[]

Teeniepings are magical fairies that represent an emotion or concept, and have a specific power attached to it, that they use to wreak havoc on Earth. Most of the time, because of their childish behavior, Teeniepings will run away if somebody tries to catch them, and Romi has to chase them and use some tricks to capture them. When caught, the Teeniepings become nicer.

In her mission, Romi is accompanied by a few Teeniepings called Royal Teeniepings who help her transform into a princess. Those Teeniepings always stay with her, and reside in the Heartrose Bakery.

Appearances[]

Teeniepings cute render

The Emotion Royal Teeniepings' render

A Teenieping normally has a big head and a colored body with a white patch on their belly. They also have different hairstyles (sometimes ears) and accessories on their head. They also have a tail, and have a collar with a button in the center (sometimes they don't have any of the following, especially for Teeniepings with clothes).

Body and Anatomy[]

The Nurseping's X-ray

The Teenieping's skeletal system

Most female Teeniepings have a heart-shaped nose, long eyelashes, and a curvy mouth whereas male Teeniepings have a round nose, short and thick eyelashes, and a round mouth[1][2]. In Secret Catch! Teenieping, the male Teeniepings' eyelashes grow a bit longer.

Also, Giggleping's eyebrows are lightning-shaped, and Egoping's eyebrows are heart-shaped.

Like humans, they have hair; particularly, when the Royal Jewel Teeniepings transform with Romi, their hairstyles become similar to those of the Royal Teeniepings they shared power with. They have physiological phenomena such as eating, farting, urinating, crying, and bleeding just like humans. However, they have a special characteristic of swallowing bubble gum, which causes their bodies to significantly swell up[3]. Their blood is red in color[4].

Weighing 8 Teeniepings at a time[5], it seems light enough to be carried around without any problems. Even if a Teenieping is placed on top of a human's head, it doesn't feel heavy. The measured value in "Hospital for Teeniepings" was 0.1, but the unit is written in Teenieping's worldview characters, so it's unknown as to whether it's measured using kilograms, pounds, or ounces[6][7].

The exact height is unknown, but assuming that Romi is about 149 cm tall based on the average height of a 12-year-old girl in 2024, and that she is 7 heads tall, it's 8.5 cm based on the Heartsping standard. In the work, it's described as being approximately the height of Romi's instep when wearing shoes, and that Romi can hold one torso in one hand.

HeartspingAMA3

According to a Teenieping Show livestream on October 24, 2024, a fan asked a question about Heartsping's height and she replied, "About an apple." Given that an apple is about the similar size as a baseball, you can guess that common Teeniepings are usually around this size.

In terms of toys, the "Talking Teenieping" line seems to be most similar to the actual proportions in the work. However, the Legend Teeniepings are slightly larger than the non-Legend Teeniepings (assuming that 8.5 cm/3.3 inches is correct), at about 10 cm/3.9 inches. If they are slightly smaller like Donutping, at about 8 cm/3.1 inches, and baby Teeniepings such as Noriping, Cupping, and Muffping are about 5.5 cm/2.2 inches.

The body type is a 2-head-to-body type with a large head compared to its short stature, and the arms are short so that they can only extend to the middle of the head (where human ears are).[8]. However, baby Teeniepings like Noriping, Cupping, and Muffping have a head bigger than their torso, so they have a head-to-body ratio of 1.5 while Legend Teeniepings are usually slightly taller than regular Teeniepings and have a head-to-body ratio of about 2.5.

In accordance with the X-ray image, their overall skeleton is similar to a human's, except that their head (skull) is particularly large. They have 18 teeth, which is less than a human's (28 permanent teeth), and most Teeniepings also have tails[9]. Their ribcage consists of 6 ribs, and their sternum does not seem to be visible. An average adult Teenieping's bones would be 47, and it could be more taking account of baby Teeniepings. Oddly, the X-ray image does not seem to display any finger bones, despite in some instances, Teeniepings can stick out their fingers.

The Royal Jewel Teeniepings' Dizzy Looks

The Royal Jewel Teeniepings have fainted[10]

Teeniepings also somehow follow cartoon physics and tropes; their eyes bulge out when they're in shock and they have swirling eyes when they're dizzy.

S3E09 - Heartsping Romi telling Cureping off

Heartsping furious at Cureping

In Romi and Heartsping's Bodies are Switched, Heartsping's head expands, another trope in cartoons whenever the characters are shown to be furious.

Like many humans, most are right-handed, and left-handed people are smart and straight[11]. Out of all of the known Teeniepings, only about 10 are left-handed.

Personality and Temperament[]

Because the Teeniepings are about emotions, their personalities are as diverse as humans. Although some of them cause trouble on Earth, most of them are gentle in nature. Most Teeniepings have naive, lively, proud, or arrogant personalities. Egoping is the only Teenieping with completely evil tendencies. However, in the case of Onlyping, it's difficult to view it as completely "evil tendencies" and is closer to a reactionary person. Also, in the 4th season, she became a good deed and only commits evil deeds according to Jennie's words.

Key Teeniepings generally have a strong professional spirit, and although they're a bit crazy, like other types of Teeniepings, they don't intentionally make things up like Maskping. In addition, many Teeniepings who are not that strong magically become victims of brainwashing and mental manipulation by outside forces, and this can be seen in the actions of Key Teeniepings the receive orders from villainous forces.

Teeniepings tend to end some of their phrases or sentences with the first part of their name.

Magic[]

Episode 8 - Tinkle Puff

Someone's Tinkle Puff

Each Teenieping has a unique magical prop related to the emotion of concept that they represent. They can use it to sprinkle Tinkle Puff, a magical powder that can interact with anything it touches (human, animal or object). Some Teeniepings also have more powerful abilities that aren't just to create Tinkle Puff.

Royal Teeniepings[]

Romi Heartsping S1 kiss

Heartsping kissing Romi in Season 1

By kissing Romi or making a magical drink for her, a Royal Teenieping can help her transform into a specific princess. This princess then gets the power of the specific Teenieping and even more specific abilities.

Community[]

There are occasional descriptions of Teeniepings who form a community. In "Teenieping Carnival," a Teenieping festival was held, "A Strange Guest At Heartrose" mentioned a Teenieping quiz competition, and in "The Coolest Friendship," in a flashback scene of Coolping, some of the Teeniepings were shown to be gathered in the Greenhouse of the Emotions Kingdom who were talking and using magic. There are also some implications that Wannabeping and Nanaping are not good at answering quizzes.

From Season 2 and onwards, Teeniepings live in specific areas of the Emotion Kingdom, and not just the Gate Cube.

Culture[]

In Season 1, the unique customs of the Teenieping were hardly shown, but in Season 2, the setting of the Jewel Fruits was gradually introduced, and from Season 3, the customs of the Mystic Town's medical care, food culture, and Fortune Festivals were revealed and became more specific.

In particular, there's a mention of making and eating good luck cookies in the Mystic Town; there are Teeniepings who are particularly interested in fashion. The Key Teeniepings each have a distinct job and attire, suggesting that they are more civilized than the other types of Teeniepings.

There is no description of medical care among the Teeniepings belonging to the Gate Cube, but the Jewel Teeniepings have the concept of a Jewel Fruit that is responsible for the health of the Teeniepings[12].

There is a description of medical Teeniepings trying to treat Key Teeniepings. Also, although it's not related to Dessert Teeniepings, if a Teenieping who is not a Dessert Teeniepings eats a shooting star candy that falls in the Dessert Village, it causes shooting star-shaped spots all over the body and a high temperature, causing an unknown disease[13]. This exists, and on the contrary, as an endemic disease among Dessert Teeniepings as a Green-Green disease.

In comparison to the Key Teeniepings that are based on a specific occupation, there aren't many descriptions of work, and the Dessert Teeniepings are depicted as making desserts in the form of a factory line[14].

It suggests that the village is industrialized. Also, the desserts made in this way are sent to various parts of the Emotions Kingdom to supply food. Considering that the method of sending these desserts is through the gate, it seems that the Key Teeniepings are in charge of transportation[15]. The fact that the Jewel Teeniepings make their living in the forest rather than in the village suggests that their agriculture is developed, despite their primitive lifestyle as they cultivate Jewel Fruit[16].

Overall, the order of civilization-wise more advanced Teeniepings is Dessert Teeniepings, Key Teeniepings, Jewel Teeniepings, and Emotion Teeniepings. It seems that civilization-wise more advanced as the seasons go by[17][18][19].

These are Joahping, Teeheeping, and Trustping, they stole the phone in order to save their friends as they heard that Romi swore not to use magic again. However, they got chased by Romi and Heartsping while the latter admonishes them as she is a teacher of the Royal Teenieping School; they then ends up admiring Romi's magic when she transforms into Princess Diaheart to save them from falling. Romi is now accompanied by three students of the Teenieping School while the Royal Teeniepings stay in the Emotions Kingdom to investigate Maskping, who tries everything to wreak havoc in Romi's life.

Scholarship[]

S2E02 - Royal Teeniepings happy

The students enrolled to the school

The three students don't usually know how to control their power yet, as they get accompanied by Heartsping as they learn how to become great while they catch Teeniepings, besides them learning. Additionally, the caught Jewel Teeniepings get to enroll since they know nothing about life outside the of the Jewel Forest.

Graduation[]

The graduation is both epic and sad; they have caught all of the missing Jewel Teeniepings and now starts their graduation from their entire excellence at their education.

During this, the Royal Teeniepings host and commence the graduation ceremony in handing the diplomas. The Royal Jewel Teeniepings are awarded with royal medals of the Emotion Kingdom for finding all of their friends on Earth, and that their efforts paid off in the end.

As for all of the Jewel Teeniepings, they're all awarded with awards of their own as a group ranging from accommodating hosts for future friends, deeds that provide others' happiness, to becoming someone he or she wants to be if they can envision a great future.

Near the end, the Jewel Teeniepings sing the Graduation Song as a way to end things off before saying goodbye to Romi.

Afterwards, the Jewel Teeniepings look at all of the memories that are being displayed by the Jewel Heart Wing Phone. No matter how embarrassing or painful the memories may be, they're all precious memories to the Jewel Teeniepings, even if some may laugh at other's misfortunes.

As a "token of appreciation," the Jewel Teeniepings gather around in a circle and use all of their power to summon and give Romi the Imperial Stone, as for their love for her since it's the last day of meeting her.

While the Jewel Teeniepings are boarding the magic taxi, which will take all of them back to the Jewel Forest, the Royal Jewel Teeniepings burst into tears while shouting that they don't want to leave Earth and Romi.

However, their bittersweet goodbye comes to a halt when Maskping intervenes and captures Heartsping before the two are transported elsewhere, to the Emotions Kingdom.

Revival[]

In the meantime, the Jewel Teeniepings can't go back to the Jewel Forest due to Maskping's interference and that the Royal Teeniepings need a plan to get back and how to deal with her.

As a result, the Jewel Teeniepings get bored and wonder when or if they'll be able to get back to their home. To entertain the others, Lalaping sings them a song to distract their tiresome mindset, which sounds obnoxious, but it gets the job done.

While they wait, the Royal Jewel Teeniepings board the Teenieping Bus with the Imperial Stone before taking off and make their way to wherever Romi and Heartsping are at.

Afterwards, the Jewel Teeniepings finally get back to the Jewel Forest, but are devastated to see the current state it's in due to the lack of sparkle and the Teeniepings that reside in it.

Just before all hope is lost, Romi and the Royal Jewel Teeniepings ride the Jewel Dragon's back as they fly over the forest and restores it back to the way it once was.

The Jewel Dragon lands, and Romi gets off of them just before the Jewel Teeniepings rush up and give her a heartfelt hug.

Master Key[]

S3E21 - Jennie releasing the Key Teeniepings

Jennie releasing the Key Teeniepings

Starting of Season 3, Jennie and her companion, Onlyping, wreak havoc in the Mystic Town and release all the Key Teeniepings on to Earth, and Romi is once again in charge of catching them all, accompanied by 3 Royal Teeniepings.

Luckyping's Grand Reveal[]

Once all of the Key Teeniepings have been caught by Romi, the Master Key's ownership gets transferred to Romi. With that, Romi uses the Master Key to unlock the chest and free Luckyping. The reveal is so spectacular and so extraordinary as all of the Teeniepings are in awe of meeting Luckyping for the first time.

In an act of gratitude, Luckyping uses her magic to create a Tinkle Puff shower to thank Romi and the Royal Teeniepings for all of their hard work with catching all of the Key Teeniepings. This causes everyone to be astonished at the eye-catching and lovely spectacle of it.

Teenieping Fashion Show[]

With Luckyping's reveal continuing from last time, it's finally time for all of the Key Teeniepings to get back to the Mystic Town. However, Fashionping isn't too fond of the idea since she isn't finished with completing her fashion collection before going back to the Mystic Town.

Luckily, the formation of the giant key would take at least a couple of hours to complete, so Luckyping and everyone decide to help out with the fashion show.

From there, the Key Teeniepings and Romi get to work with reviewing and designing the outfits, and making the stage while Fashionping teaches the Royal Teeniepings and Luckyping on how to properly walk on the runway.

After the preparations have been completed, the Key Teeniepings fall asleep, which gives Onlyping an opportunity to seize the Master Key. Unfortunately, while the Master Key is out in the open, it has kind of magic force field around it to prevent anyone from grabbing it, and sends a mild shock if anyone dares to try and snatch it. Onlyping realizes this and sneakily gets out of the Heartrose Bakery and back to Jennie.

Later at night, the Teenieping Fashion show commences, and everyone (including Romi, Maya, and Marylou) attend the event as the Royal Key Teeniepings and Luckyhping are on stage showing off Fashionping's collection with a song playing in the background.

Jennie's Intrusion[]

With all of the Key Teeniepings finished with the Teenieping Fashion Show hosted by Fashionping, Jennie and Onlyping step out of the portal from the Mystic Town to Heartrose Bakery just as when the Key Teeniepings are about to get back to their home.

Jennie holds the Raven Heart Wing and manages to catch all of the Key Teeniepings, except Luckyping and the Royal Teeniepings.

Unfortunately, Jennie transforms with Onlyping into Princess Labyrinth, and with it, she sends a powerful shockwave that envokes serious pain to everyone else in the room. Due to this, she manages to capture Luckyping and goes back to the Mystic Town.

Left with no other option, Romi and the Royal Teeniepings rush through the portal door just before it closes and is sealed off.

The Corrupted Door's Formation[]

Back in the Mystic Town, Jennie uses the combined powers of the Legend Spellbook, the Master Key, the Raven Heart Wing to perform a ritual to create the corrupted door by using the Key Teeniepings' energy.

The Key Teeniepings in the Raven Cubes surround themselves and make a circle with Luckyping being in the center of it. Due to this, the Key Teeniepings transfer all of their energy on to Luckyping, and in turn, transfer her energy to create the Corrupted Door. This is both a tiring and a painful process for the Teeniepings to muster up so much energy for the Corrupted Door.

Freeing the Key Teeniepings[]

After dodging several obstacles in the Mystic Town, Romi finally makes her way to confront Jennie and tries to bring the latter back to her sense. She recognizes how much pain and suffering that the Key Teeniepings and Luckyping are going through in forming the Corrupted Door.

Unfortunately, Jennie unknowingly pushes Romi off of the edge during the struggle before she starts falling from the altar. The Key Teeniepings witness Romi falling as they all reminisce about their times with Romi.

With this newfound strength, they all gather the courage to share their energies with Luckyping, which allows her escape and break free from the Raven Cube. This lets Luckyping help Romi transform into Princess Twilight.

Upon seeing that her defeat is inevitable, Jennie uses the Master Key as a last resort for her to go inside one of the giant cubes before creating an illusion where out of the thousands upon thousands of Master Keys, only one of them is the real one.

Once Romi manages to strike the real Master Key by using the Mystic Heart Wing Bow thanks to one of Jennie's illusions, she uses the Master Key to free Jennie from the giant cube. Following this, Romi manages to free all of the Key Teeniepings from the Raven Cubes and get transported back to the ground.

With Romi and Jennie's reconciliation, Luckyping uses the Master Key to revert the Mystic Town back to its original state. As a result, all of the Key Teeniepings are amazed once they see that their home is back to the way it was.

The Last Visit[]

With everything being resolved in the Mystic Town, Romi, Jennie, Onlyping, and the Royal Teeniepings travel back to the Mystic Town while riding on the Jewel Dragon's back.

From there, the Key Teeniepings (except Cureping) welcome them when they came back from the Emotions Kingdom.

In the meantime, the Key Teeniepings are talking amongst themselves, and are happy and carefree for the ones who are playing with each other. Onlyping witnesses this, and just as when she's about leave and go on her own, the Royal Teeniepings invite her to play and not have her be alone.

This causes her to break down into tears as all of the Royal Teeniepings and the Key Teeniepings go up to her, and not only comfort her, but also forgive her for her actions despite all of the terrible things that she's done to them.

Flavorless Desserts[]

S4E01 - Fluffyping and Shashaping shocked that Puffping had the Magic Sugar Ball

Fluffyping and Shashaping surprised that Puffping had the Magic Sugar Ball

Starting of Season 4, Puffping steals the Magic Sugar Ball and releases all the Dessert Teeniepings on to Earth, and Romi is once again in charge of catching them all, accompanied by 3 Royal Teeniepings.

Puffping's Corruption[]

Over time, Puffping's mind and body are slowly being corrupted due to stealing and being with the Magic Sugar Ball for such a long time.

One day, while Romi and Puffping remain under Chocoping's influence, they unknowingly let the Magic Sugar Ball and the Sugar Berry Pact make contact with one another. This causes Puffping to become fully corrupted with dark magic.

From then on, Romi and the others have a new threat before the former could manage to catch Puffping, the last Dessert Teenieping.

Sweetping and Tangyping's Reconciliation[]

One faithful day, while Romi and the Royal Dessert Teeniepings are talking to Dr. Monziu over Romi's mirror, a strange phenomenon has made the Sugar Berry Pact act on its own. Romi grabs the Sugar Berry Pact to try and stop it, but it does no good as it has a mind of its own and brings her to where the Dessert Teeniepings are at, in the Teenieping Village.

Following this, the Sugar Berry Pact goes out of control as its releasing a lot of Tinkle Puff all over the place; three of the Tinkle Puffs even manage to trap the Royal Dessert Teeniepings (except Heartsping) in their own Sugar Shields.

However, unlike the typical Sugar Shields, where they can just dispel by choice, they can't get out or use their magic to destroy it.

With that, the Sugar Berry Pact manages to trap all of the Dessert Teeniepings inside their respective Sugar Shields. This alerts the Legend Teeniepings that recognize the power of Sugar Magic.

Subsequently, Tangyping explains that the Sugar Berry Pact's instinct is to protect the Dessert Teeniepings, but Romi argues that it only traps them in their Sugar Shields.

To make matters worse, the Sugar Shields are beginning to shrink with the Dessert Teeniepings inside, threatening to crush them.

Not knowing what the consequences are if this keeps up, Sweetping and Tangyping use their combined power and release their Tinkle Puffs to the Sugar Berry Pact to stop the misbehavior. With that, they succeed in calming the Sugar Berry Pact down and manage to free all of the Dessert Teeniepings from their Sugar Shields.

After the Dessert Teeniepings are freed from their Sugar Shields, they go over to confront the two Cake Chests that house Sweetping and Tangyping respectively once they and Romi figure out who are they inside their own chest.

Following this, Sweetping and Tangyping explain why they're in their chests. As it turns out, while they were making a cake to celebrate the Sugar Berry Pact's first anniversary, they were arguing over whether to make the cake sweet or make it sour.

Thus, this creates a rift between the two that starts off as a small dispute before escalating to direct insults to each other.

Due to their concerns about their negative impact on the Magic Sugar Ball, they transform into their shape forms and fly off to the Cotton Forest. Thus, losing the Magic Sugar Ball's protection from outside forces, such as Puffping.

Upon landing, they transform into their respective Cake Chests that used to be combined into one cake before splitting in half. This creates a cavern between the two as they refuse to apologize or reconcile with each other.

Romi and the Royal Dessert Teenieping figure that if the Legend Teeniepings can't leave their own chests, they'll have to force them together to make them come out.

The plan is set, and Romi pushes Tangyping's chest while the Dessert Teeniepings push Sweetping's chest in order to make the two chests become one. While it initially worked, the cake chests are then separated from each other due to Sweetping and Tangyping's respective prides, and their refusal to apologize and reconcile with each other. This causes a strong force that knocks everyone back.

Even though the Dessert Teeniepings are down due to the shear impact, Donutping isn't ready to give up. In her lowest moment, she tries to push Sweetping's chest with all of her might so that she, Cupping, and Muffping could go back to the Dessert Village.

Upon witnessing this, Romi and the Dessert Teeniepings have tears in their eyes as they saw how much Donutping is hurt when she wants to go back to her home, but Sweetping and Tangyping still refuse to apologize or communicate with each other.

Understandably, Shashaping gets tired and frustrated about their stubbornnesses to apologize to each other, so she calls them out on the fact that while they're busying arguing, they're oblivious to the state that the Dessert Village is in.

Even if they're concerned about their negative impact on the Magic Sugar Ball, Shashaping's right to call them out on how their petty argument caused the Dessert Village to turn colorless to the point where it makes it unlivable and unsustainable for the Dessert Teeniepings to reside in.

Shashaping adds that even the Cake Castle is in ruins and is on the verge of collapsing. Once Sweetping and Tangyping are struck with this realization, the rest of the Dessert Teeniepings start crying over the fact that the Cake Castle is in ruins and that they miss the Dessert Village.

After that, Shashaping breaks down and bursts into tears while shouting and begging for the Cake Castle and the Dessert Village to get back to the way it was before.

Realizing the errors of their ways, Sweetping and Tangyping are able to understand they've forgotten their mission to protect not just the Magic Sugar Ball, but also the Dessert Teeniepings and the Dessert Village. With that, the two cake chests combine into one; the two Legend Teeniepings who wouldn't stop arguing are free from the chest meet the Dessert Teeniepings and Romi face to face.

In the meantime, the Dessert Teeniepings and Romi are astonished at the sight of the bright glow that emits from the combined cake chest and the reveals of Sweetping and Tangyping.

Once Sweetping and Tangyping are able to reconcile, put aside their respective prides, share an apology with each other, and give a heartfelt hug, the Dessert Teeniepings are thrilled by the sight of them making things up for each other.

With that, Sweetping and Tangyping make a Tinkle Puff shower together to commemorate that the happiness and the magic comes from the Dessert Teeniepings to which they're in awe of the lovely sight.

Dessert Party[]

After the Tinkle Puff shower, Sweetping and Tangyping float back down to the ground as their magic emits the familiar sweet and sour scent that came from the Dessert Village. From there, the Dessert Teeniepings take in the lovely scent while it unknowingly attracts Puffping to it.

With that, Romi congratulates Sweetping and Tangyping's reconciliation to which it makes all of the Dessert Teeniepings excited for a party. Shashaping explains that whenever there's a celebration about something significant, they often celebrate it with a party.

Even though Romi didn't intend to throw a party for the Dessert Teeniepings, their pleading expressions said otherwise, and Romi lets them have a dessert party.

However, once it comes down to how they're planning to make the cake, all of the Dessert Teeniepings have conflicting ideas on how they want the cake to look like, which causes them to talk over each other.

Nevertheless, Donutping presents Sweetping and Tangyping with an idea, and thanks to Cupping and Muffping for directing their attentions to Donutping, she's able to present the idea with a drawing that she made for the babies. The drawing shows two cakes that have Sweetping and Tangyping standing on their respective cakes while they're holding hands.

Upon seeing this, the Royal Dessert Teeniepings are fascinated about the idea and wanted to make a cake like that. The plan is set, and all of the Dessert Teeniepings are excited to make this cake. Unbeknownst to them, Puffping is eavesdropping on their conversation and plans to sabotage the cake.

In the meantime, the Dessert Teeniepings are busy gathering food from the shop for the cake and come back with giant piles of food in the carts. Romi also chimes in to help by giving them a huge stash of food for the cake.

While the preparations are still underway, Puffping sneaks in while the Dessert Teeniepings are occupied with the frozen treats delivered by Shashaping and Iceflakeping and plants a corrupted bubble gum into the mixture.

Once the Dessert Teeniepings have finished with making the preparations, they combine all of their magic to combine all of the food to create the finished cake.

Unfortunately, Mallowping sneezes and unintentionally uses her magic to make one of the stands soft, causing the cake to become uneven and breaks the statue's arm in doing so. The Dessert Teeniepings are shocked at this outcome whereas Mallowping deeply apologizes for the damages that she accidentally caused.

Sweetping and Tangyping reassure Mallowping that mistakes are bound to be made and that they can just make the cake all over again. With that, Donutping suggests that they can raise the two statues' arms up so that it can look cooler and have a stronger connection. All of the Dessert Teeniepings agree with this idea and are ready to repair and fix this cake.

Afterwards, Maya and Marylou are invited by Romi to come to the Dessert Party and are greeted by Sweetping and Tangyping who then start the Dessert Party. All of the Dessert Teeniepings (except Puffping) participate in the Dessert Party with a song playing in the background.

Celebration Gone Wrong[]

When the party comes to a close, Sweetping and Tangyping summon a knife so that they can cut the cake; however, something isn't right. As it turns out, the Sweetping cake statue is inflating while the two Legend Teeniepings are cutting the cake. Even with Heartsping's warning, the bubble gum manages to trap not just Sweetping and Tangyping and levitate them, but all of the Dessert Teeniepings within it. Maya's and Marylous's feet are stuck in Puffping's bubble gum after the former unknowingly stepped on to it from behind.

To make matters worse, the bubble gum underneath the Teenieping Ice Cream Truck begins to inflate until it pops, making Romi shocked because of the loud noise, she unknowingly drops the Sugar Berry Pact when she's trying to transform, and she steps back to find that another corrupted bubble gum is placed their and gets her and the Royal Dessert Teeniepings trapped by it.

From there, nothing stops Puffping in snatching the Sugar Berry Pact and leaving the bakery.

The Last Dessert Teenieping[]

With being stuck in the corrupted bubble gum continuing, Sweetping and Tangyping recognize that something's wrong with the Magic Sugar Ball, so they use their magic to free everyone from their confines.

Due to the Magic Sugar Ball's contamination, it could reach dangerous amounts of power if it's not handled by the Legend Teeniepings. With this, Romi and the Royal Dessert Teeniepings exit the bakery and make their way to Puffping, and get back the Sugar Berry Pact.

Unfortunately, Puffping plans on using the Sugar Berry Pact to combine its sugar magic with the Magic Sugar Ball to make him even more powerful.

Even though Jellyping head butted Puffping to stop the process, he's still gain enough power to take them all out.

Just as when all hope seems lost, Jennie and Onlyping appear out of the portal and defend Romi, Sweetping, and Tangyping from Puffping's attack.

With the Sugar Berry Pact back into Romi's possession, she transforms with Heartsping into Princess Berryheart. With all of the help from some of the Dessert Teeniepings, everyone manages to stop Puffping just as when he puts up his corrupted Sugar Shield.

Sweetping and Tangyping lend their strength to the Sugar Prism Shot to amplify its magic before striking its magic on to Puffping. Following this, Romi catches Puffping once and for all.

Aftermath[]

With the Magic Sugar Ball being purified, Sweetping and Tangyping place it in a case where it can be protected from any harm. The Dessert Teeniepings carry a slice of cake and give it to Romi.

Despite all the terrible things that Puffping has done, all of the Dessert Teeniepings decide to forgive him and comfort him when he broke down into tears.

Last Minute Problems[]

Even though Puffping has resolved his problems over his obsession of the Magic Sugar Ball, his mind is still tempted on touching it one last time.

The Teeniepings say goodbye to Romi before Sweetping and Tangyping summon a portal back to the Dessert Village. However, just as when the Dessert Teeniepings are going back to the Dessert Village, the temptation is too much for Puffping as he gives in to his desires and grabs the Magic Sugar Ball.

As a consequence, the Magic Sugar Ball gets absorbed into Puffping's body, and violet bubbles inflate and cover his entire body before transforming him into a monster.

Sensing the potential danger, Romi uses the Sugar Berry Pact and makes all of the Dessert Teeniepings to enter it in order to keep them safe until they're ready to get released.

In the meantime, Romi transforms with Heartsping into Princess Berryheart in order to stop Puffping from destroying Harmony Town and harming the citizens.

Romi and the others are doing damage control while Sweetping and Tangyping prevent him from entering his own portal to the Dessert Village. They lure Puffping to the observatory so that they can use a tactic to trap Puffping until they get the Magic Sugar Ball out of his body.

The plan is set, and Romi uses the Sugar Magic Shaker and the Sugar Berry Pact on the giant sphere to amplify the sugar magic in order to trap Puffping. However, it costs a lot of magic and Romi instantly detransforms after the process has been completed.

Unfortunately, while the plan initially worked, Puffping manages to break free from the confines due to Sweetping and Tangyping's distraction. They're unable to stop Puffping from entering the portal to the Dessert Village.

Nevertheless, Romi reminds them that there's still a chance of stopping him if they arrive at the Dessert Village. With that, they all enter the portal and make their way to the Dessert Village.

Defending the Dessert Village[]

Puffping has made it to the Dessert Village and plans to destroy the Cake Castle. However, in doing so, the whole village will disappear along with it.

To save the Cake Castle, Sweetping and Tangyping instruct Romi to bring the Sugar Berry Pact to the Cake Castle so it can use its magic to defend it while the Royal Dessert Teeniepings will work together to defend Romi until she gets there.

The plan is set, and Romi and the Royal Dessert Teeniepings make their way to the Cake Castle as fast as possible while Sweetping and Tangyping deal with Puffping in order to try and stop him with their magic alone.

Unfortunately, the Sugar Berry Pact gets broken along the way due to Romi dropping it while dodging the broken pieces of the dessert that Puffping has surpassed as it gets crushed by one of the pieces. With that, Donutping, Cupping and Muffping are unintentionally summoned from the Sugar Berry Pact.

Romi holds the broken Sugar Berry Pact just as when more broken pieces of desserts come falling down. Donutping uses her magic in an attempt to protect the others, but her magic doesn't work on the desserts and Heartsping tackles her to get out of the way.

As a consequence, Heartsping and Donutping get hurt in the process; when Cupping and Muffping witness that Donutping is injured because of Puffping, they begin to cry until they grow to giant sizes.

The babies take action and try to stop Puffping, but he uses his laser to harm and blow them away; nevertheless, Donutping catches them before they hit the ground.

Just before Puffping could destroy the Cake Castle, Romi steps in and uses herself as a shield to defend it. Unfortunately, it doesn't stop him from carrying out his plan, even if it may have gotten through to him at just a tiny margin.

At the last second, Sweetping and Tangyping conjure up a shield to protect Romi and the Cake Castle, but in doing so, they sacrifice themselves in the process.

Romi is absolutely devastated at their death, but just as when all hope is lost, a bright light shines through, and Sweetping's and Tangyping's shape forms allow Romi to transform into Princess Harmonius

With this newfound strength, Romi grows giant and defends the Cake Castle with all of her might. However, during the struggle, she realizes how much Puffping is suffering within his monster form, so she puts all of her strength into one, and enters Puffping's consciousness.

Afterwards, Sweetping and Tangyping appear in their astral forms to apologize for their wrongdoings, how they were the cause of everything that's happened to the Dessert Village, and give Puffping a big hug.

The Dessert Village's Restoration[]

As Puffping breaks down into tears, he grabs Romi's hand as he's finally coming to his senses, confront his wrongdoings, and remind him of who he truly is as she released him from inside.

In the meantime, the Magic Sugar Ball is purified and is released from Puffping's monstrous body before placing itself back on top of the Cake Castle. As a result, the sugar magic within restores the Dessert Village and repairs the Cake Castle from ruins.

Puffping's monstrous form dissolves as the Sugar Berry Pact repairs itself before releasing all of the Dessert Teeniepings. All of them are deeply sadden and grieve over Sweetping's and Tangyping's deaths as they all burst into tears and hug Romi.

Later at night, in Harmony Town, Romi receives a package from a mysterious Teenieping that reveals the desserts and a photo of all Dessert Teeniepings in front of the Cake Castle now that Puffping's finally made friends, which surprisingly includes Sweetping and Tangyping.

The Royal Dessert Teeniepings bid farewell to Romi until they meet again.

The Black Hole[]

Starting of Season 5, a black hole appears in space and sucks all the Star Teeniepings into it before they get released to Earth, and Romi is once again in charge of catching them all, accompanied by 3 Royal Teeniepings.

Trivia[]

  • Teeniepings can easily be recognized because of some differences they have:
    • The main Teeniepings of each season have a mark on their belly while others do not have one.
    • Since the release of Season 3 the Teeniepings started wearing clothes.
  • In the Cube Chamber, the 3 cubes each contain 343 Teeniepings, so it's possible that many Teeniepings could have been caught offscreen or some of the cubes are spares.
  • It is unclear on if Teeniepings can actually die, one occurrence that might be similar to this problem is in the episode "Princess Veronica", where Happying turns grey, and lifeless, after a collision with Egoping. While this may look like death, it might be unconsciousness, or something similar.
  • The Mandarin name for Teenieping is "萌可", which roughly translates to "cute." 萌可 can also be used by simply putting it after the name/property, instead of using the "-ping" suffix.
    • For example, Heartsping's Mandarin name, "爱心萌可", translates to "Love Heart Teenieping", where "爱" means love, "心" means heart/s, and "萌可" means Teenieping.
  • Sometimes, Teeniepings stick out their fingers when to point at someone or to make a gesture, despite not having their fingers appear most of the times as a detail.
  • Teeniepings sometimes utter catchphrases or verbal tics after every sentence they make. They are usually the first half of their name (e.g: Dreamping - "Dream!"), the same but said two times (e.g: Coolping - "Cool-cool!"), both (e.g: Stickping - "Stick!" or "Stick-stick!"), or even unique (e.g: Artping - "Oehlala!")
    • Heartsping's is a bit complicated: she normally says "Chu!", which may be unique in English, but not in Korean, she says "츄!", a shortening of "하츄".
      • She also says "Heart-chu!", and its Korean counterpart is "하츄!", the half of her name "하츄핑".
      • In Mandarin hers is entirely unique: she says "啾", completely different from "爱心".
  • Teeniepings look at cats as predators, usually since Teeniepings can resemble mice.
  • Teeniepings usually represent emotions, everyday occurrences, and elemental powers.
  • Romi, as a princess, can choose a Teenieping she has already been caught, and summon them out of their Cube Chambers, to help her with catching a Teenieping or other encounters. This is awfully similar as to how a Pokémon trainer can summon a Pokémon they have already been caught, even similar as how they summon a Pokémon to help with catching a Pokémon.
    • Cube Chambers also are similar to the Pokéballs.
  • Their name originates from the mix of two Korean words meaning "Tiny" and "Pixie" (fairy)

Notes[]

  1. However, as an exception, some Teeniepings (Sighping and Egoping) have round noses even though they are female. In addition, Fashionping has eyelashes that are similar to female Teeniepings, but are short and thick. Some of the male Teeniepings are drawn with a curvey mouth (or a cat mouth). For example, the Hologram stickers from the Season 4 Teenieping figure giveaway, regular cards from the second installment in the Teenieping arcade game.
  2. In the case of male Teeniepings, there are two types that have short eyelashes like female Teeniepings, and one of the types involve having thick and relatively long eyelashes like Trueping.
  3. For example, Gogoping swallowed too much bubble gum and his body swelled up uncontrollably, and Puffping uses his magic to do so.
  4. In The Arrow of Luvping, one of Heartsping's teacup shards scrape Gogoping's leg, giving him a cut with some blood visible.
  5. When Romi defended against Egoping's attack with magic power in "Princess Veronica," the Teeniepings Romi was holding at that time were the 6 Royal Teeniepings from Season 1 as well as Blankping and Dreamping.
  6. The most likely option is to use a unique unit within the world of Teenieping, but because the metric system is universal worldwide, kilogram is the most likely option.
  7. For reference, when converting to other units based on 0.1 kg (only 1 decimal place), it becomes 0.2 lbs, or 3.5 oz.
  8. So when Oppoping's magic forced them to do a handstand, the Teenipings' arms didn't touch the ground, so instead, their heads directly touched the ground.
  9. The Legend Teeniepings and Ariaping don't have tails at all. In addition, Splashping's tail looks like it's resembling that of a mermaid's tail.
  10. If you look closely, you can see that the fainted look is angled (Seasons 2 to 4), and in Season 1, it is drawn in a round shape.
  11. However, Dadaping is somewhat ambiguous in that he holds writing utensils with his left hand, but uses his right hand when using magic. Regardless of the main hand, it can be used with either his left or right hand.
  12. Judging from this, it appears that agriculture has developed.
  13. This disease can be cured by feeding the fruit called 'Frozen Strawberry'. The spots and high temperature are similar symptoms to the Jewel Tomato disease mentioned in "Trustping Has Fainted!." As a side note, it seems that it's harmless to humans if eaten as it's mentioned that ice cream made with this is also sent to the Emotions Kingdom.
  14. In accordance to the episode "Sweet and Sour Dessert Teenieping," the Dessert pings are making desserts on the factory line using their abilities. The process is also systematically divided into labor. According to Shashaping's production plan, when Waffleping and Candyping put the ingredients they brought into the machine, Donutping makes holes in the donuts coming out on the conveyor belt, or Waffleping flattens the cake sheets, Hotcakeping folds the flattened cake sheets into three layers, Sandping fills the gaps between these three layers of cake sheets, and Lolliping changes the direction of the line. Jellyping and Meringueping decorate the cakes or donuts coming to their line with jelly or meringue. Shashaping plays a simple, but important role in checking the shipping location of the completed desserts. In addition, Iceflakeping makes and supplies shaved ice at home, showing a depiction of working from home. Puddingping shows the appearance of a self-employed person who sets up a street stall, and makes pudding before selling it within the town.
  15. In fact, it seems that Shashaping is receiving help from Mystic Town as she mentions that some of the. Although it's not mentioned, the passage to the Jewel Forest also appears in "Sweet and Sour Dessert Teenieping."
  16. In fact, the reason why agriculture developed in humans was because the gathering lifestyle in prehistoric times had its limitations, so methods to store surplus crops were developed and farming began, which led to the development of civilization. Therefore, it can't be said that the lifestyle of the Jewel Teeniepings was completely primitive.
  17. As for actions or motivations, the Teeniepings belonging to the Gate Cube don't know any particular concepts, so they don't care about their surroundings and go around causing trouble to those around them as they please while the Jewel Teeniepings attend the Teenieping School or have connections and know what their surroundings think, but due to their mental age, they often cause trouble to those around them. The Key Teeniepings rather get into jobs as civilization develops and, on the contrary, they place too much importance on their own values and cause accidents while the Dessert Teeniepings mostly cause accidents because they're incited by the Puffping or can't control themselves, and there are some Teeniepings who do not cause accidents
  18. The actions of Giggleping, Puffping, and the actions of the Teenieping who were incited are also compared. Giggleping leads the Teeniepings in a simple way while Puffping sometimes incites them by using the worries of the Dessert Teeniepings, although in similar cases. The reason for their failure is that Giggleping commits trolling because she and the Teeniepings lack intelligence and civilization while Puffping tries to throw away the Dessert Teeniepings at the end, but is stopped by Romi as the Dessert Teeniepings are rehabilitated.
  19. This also suggests that the characteristics of the Teeniepings are becoming more three-dimensional as the seasons progress.
