"Twirl, Twirl on Skates" is the twenty-second episode of Secret Catch! Teenieping. It introduces Twirlping.
Synopsis[]
Twirlping — the figure-skating Teenieping — is the last Key Teenieping for Romi to catch. But it won't be easy; as Onlyping is following behind them, willing to prevent the catch from happening!

Plot[]
Romi, who's transformed with Okeydokeyping into Princess Crystal, and the Royal Key Teeniepings are looking around the park for the last Teenieping to catch, but with no luck. They then think back to when the Teenieping in the box had done a lot of waiting when she has been been trapped all this time.
The flashback plays out the time when Romi and the Royal Key Teeniepings were talking to the Teenieping in the box about the times where she had helped them. She helped them with the storybook incident, and with the time when Maya's camera took the photos by using her magic to transport through the keyholes when she used some of her strength back then. Romi asked her whether she could get out of the box if she has the Master Key; the Teenieping confirmed this, and urged the group to catch the last Key Teenieping so that she could be freed.
The flashback ends as Romi asks Okeydokeyping if she knows the last Teenieping well enough; she agrees and tells her that Twirlping is an expert at figure skating who always loves the ice. This gives her the idea that Twirlping must be in an area where there's lots of ice, but Trueping questions about where would ice be in such a warm weather.
Romi carefully thinks about it before coming to a realization that there's a place where there's a lot of ice. She also adds on to the fact that in her Princess Crystal form, she can't slip on the ice, so she takes the Royal Key Teeniepings as they make their way to the ice rink.
In the meantime, Lena is skating in the ice rink where she notices Hani performing some impressive figure skating techniques. Everyone is amazed by her performance, but Lena is jealous of the attention that Hani's getting. So she shoves some people out of the way, and shows off her spinning move on the ice.
Nevertheless, she's suddenly hit by Twirlping's Tinkle Puff, which causes her to forcibly spin around wildly, and makes her dizzy. Twirlping controls her body by making her perform a triple axel with her, but in doing so, she accidentally slams into Cindy and Hani towards the end of her jump. Twirlping, on the other hand, dismisses her as an unworthy skating partner for her.
Just then, Romi and the Royal Key Teeniepings barge into the rink only to find Lena, Cindy, and Hani who are knocked out. The Mystic Heart Wing's alarm goes off as Romi is able to identify and locate Twirlping. They decide to confront her with Okeydokeyping trying to convince Twirlping to come with her together so that they can go back to the Mystic Town, but she's reluctant to go, and instead avoids them.
A chase ensues as Twirlping is skating away from Romi, so the latter uses her magic to try and stop the former, but she dodges every single attack that's been thrown at her. Heartsping uses her magic on Twirlping, but she's able to jump out of the way.
Being fed up with their antics, Twirlping uses her magic on Romi and the Royal Key Teeniepings to give them ice skates, which off sets their balances. She then controls them by making their bodies lean backwards as if they're about to fall, and make them do a sit spin. While Okeydokeyping manages to balance herself, the other Royals get dizzy and unknowingly crash into her; Romi follows through with it and becomes dizzy as well due to exhaustion.
But just as when Twirlping is about to leave given that the others can't do something that she thinks is easy, which is figure skating, Okeydokeyping tries to reach out to her, and yet, Twirlping refuses to listen to her, so she goes off an tries to find a new partner. Romi and the other Royals are able to recover from their dizziness and exhaustion, but their ice skates dissipate soon after, making the Royals (excluding Okeydokeyping) to slip and fall on the ice.
Meanwhile, a magic shooting star is sent from the sky, and lands on to a rooftop, which reveals itself to by Onlyping. She notices that Romi and the Royal Key Teeniepings are going somewhere, but she decides that it's not the best time to stick around and follow them.
After a while, Romi and the Royal Key Teeniepings are tired from running around Harmony Town in the search for Twirlping. Heartsping and Trueping are wondering where she could be when she's trying to find the perfect partner while Okeydokeyping confirms that to be the case.
The flashback plays out to the time when Twirlping was back in the Mystic Town where she was doing her ice skating. She noticed Hurryping, and invited him to come ice skating with her, but he rejected the offer since he hates ice because it's so slippery, so he hurriedly ran away.
Subsequently, Twirlping asked Yumyumping to come and perform a triple axel with her, but the latter misunderstood that to be something that can be food, so the former awkwardly denied and went away from her.
Feeling defeated, Twirlping sat on the ice all alone as she wasn't able to find a partner for her, but that all changed when she met Okeydokeyping who was on top of her Snowman Pet. She was amazed to see Okeydokeypoing, so she offered her to come and skate with her given that she'd been looking for a perfect match, and that she had been looking for her. Okeydokeyping was a bit hesitant, but to due Twirlping's begging, she agreed to do it.
Henceforth, Okeydokeyping began learning how to skate, but because she wasn't able to perfect a triple axel, Twirlping scolded her and demonstrated how it's supposed to be done. So Okeydokeyping had tried a couple more times, but she always fell on the ice to the point where she had to wear some bandages on her face to protect her injuries.
One time, she almost succeeded in performing a triple axel, but Twirlping scolded and told her that she needs to land on tiptoe. Okeydokeyping asked if she could take a break, but Twirlping refused while telling her that if she can't do a triple axel with her, she wasn't quite there yet, even going as far as questioning her why she can't do it with a menacing expression.
The stresses that had been put on to Okeydokeyping caused her to lash out on to Twirlping given that she couldn't take much more of figure skating, so she decided to refuse to do anymore ice skate. Twirlping was hurt by this considering that the two of them agreed to do this together, but because this went too far, she was forced to cut ties with Okeydokeyping, and chose to find a new partner for her. As a result, the two of them angrily went about their separate ways.
The flashback ends as Okeydokeyping tells Romi and the others that ever since that day, she has been wanting to make things right with Twirlping, even going as far as practicing the triple axel to perfection. But she's unable to show Twirlping her figure skating skills because something or someone had interfered with the Mystic Town. The others understand her struggle, so Romi ask her where else Twirlping can go; Okeydokeyping carefully thinks about it before an idea comes up.
Back with Twirlping, she turns some of the ground into ice as she's wondering who will be her partner. She notices a man who's walking towards the ice, and by the time he gets on to it, he immediately has ice skates on. Twirlping decides to do some ice skating with the man, but he's too surprised to find out what's going on as his body is moving on his own, which makes his toupee fall off and hit his face, making him slip and fall on the ice.
Twirlping then tries to figure skate with another boy by performing the triple axel, but while he successfully catches his ice cream scoop from falling on to the ground, he isn't so lucky as he also slips and falls on the ice. Therefore, Twirlping declares them unworthy to be her partners while the two immediately run away once their ice skates disappear.
At that moment, Onlyping shows up and proclaims to be the one that Twirlping is looking for in a perfect partner. Twirlping asks if she'll not be her partner, but also perform the triple axel with her; Onlyping accepts and asks her if she can demonstrate what to do. Twirlping happily obliges, so she starts to do her triple axel. Unbeknownst to her, Onlyping has other plans in mind.
She uses her staff to attack Twirlping, but it fails, which makes her recognize Onlyping's face as the one from when the Mystic Town had been attacked. Thus, Twirlping uses her magic to freeze Onlyping in ice before skating away, but little does she know, Onlyping is furious as a crack forms on the ice.
Afterwards, Twirlping goes to a river, and uses her magic to turn some of it into ice for her to skate on. While she's skating, she can't help but somberly think about how much fun it would be if she has someone to skate with.
Suddenly, she's alerted by the sound of Okeydokeyping's voice, and notices that she and the others are there with her. But just as when she's about to go away, Okeydokeyping steps on to the ice to tell her that she has been practicing her triple axel, and ask her to pay attention to her.
While Twirlping initially refuses, and going as far to find a new partner, she's surprised to find that Okeydokeyping is right. She apologizes to Twirlping for what had happened before, and elaborates that she's her partner. In addition, Okeydokeyping manages to perform a perfect triple axel, and shows how much she's grown ever since their falling out.
After that, Okeydokeyping offers Twirlping to skate with her to which the latter agrees. The two of them skate together in perfect harmony as they finish off their stellar performance. Twirlping then realizes that she's so wrapped up in perfecting her technique that she forgets about how much fun that she has with skating in general. The two of them thank each other as Okeydoeyping recognizes how much fun that she has.
Romi steps forward and asks Twirlping if she can come with them to which she happily accepts since partners always stick together. Unfortunately, Onlyping throws a smoke bomb towards them just as when Twirlping is about to give Romi her personal key. She traps Twirlping in a magic pearl while they're distracted from the ambush, and pulls her towards herself.
When asked what Onlyping wants to do with Twirlping, she answers that they're better off not knowing. With that, Romi and the Royals make their way to save Twirlping from Onlyping's clutches.

- This is the first episode to feature Onlyping trying to stop Romi's plans of catching a Teenieping.
- Ironically, this isn't the first time that Romi has had someone else stop her from catching a Teenieping as this has happened numerous times with Giggleping in Catch! Teenieping.
